I am now inspired by the different layers that make up the wall of an alley, which would include layers of concrete, plaster, mold, rust, paint and pealing paint, which would be laid bear to the world because of time and general wear and tear.
This is one of my first experiments which I think was very successful. I stuck random lenghts of masking tape on blank paper and painted a layer over it. I repeat this process adding 3 more layers of tape. I then removed the tape, attempting to be careful to not remove the under layers of paint with the tape. I found that the process is what makes the piece so impactful as it is a different method of drawing.
I plan on pushing the boundries of this process and see what I can get out of it :)
