Inspiration by Monet

Claude Monet's 'Japanese Footbridge'
As a result of my brief I have been reintroduced to Monet and to his series of work focused on his garden at Giverny. It influenced my next step on the brief. Monet recorded a set space over a 26 year period, recording the shifts and changes of seasons and the weather. From his work, it is obvious that he has a focused eye on capturing an in-depth observation of what lies before him as a whole and how time has influenced this environment. Although I dont have 26 years to spare, I plan on mimicking his experimentations as my brief. A market place should be a fun space to start ..
